From the many decisions Jonas choose, they were mainly correct from my point of view. First, he is correct by thinking that if in his job he could lie, everyone could and so he couldn´t trust anyone from then on. Then, he starts gaining the memories from The Giver and then analyzes one day that a "innocent" game they used to play was based on a very sad memory that was war, but the community didn´t knew about it and so they consider that game as a "good" one. Then after he processed it, he didn't wanted to play anymore that game and so he told all the other kids to stop but they just rejected the idea because they didn't knew about war.
This memories give Jonas a better understandment of things around him compared to other people in the community by gaining knowledge and wisdom. Probably if Jonas was not the receiver of memory and other person would, he would not act as he is doing so in the book. This wisdom gives Jonas its way of being and so its personality and likes.
Other memories include colors which Jonas had seen before being the actual receiver of memory, and his decision to stay with it due to the new experience and differentiation of things could be was correct to me and I would try and pass it away to other people to transmit the "feeling". Also his decision of running away from the community was very unintelligent because he dind´t knew about Elsewhere and he could not know what lays beyond him, also not analyzing in his "plan" with the Giver where to find food, or how to stay away from the airplanes without passing to Gabriel the memories of snow so that Jonas would not loose them between other stuff.
Finally, I would say that Jonas without or with the memory of courage is very brave and that he is also curious about what he has never seen or feel in the memories, being very smart and very sentimental about how he sees the world with the memories given by The Giver.
